22.10.24

More than 100 students from the study program of Architecture – Green Building at the FH Campus Wien and from the faculty of architecture of the TU Wien and many other visitors joined the opening lecture at the Audi Max at FH Campus Wien.

Gabu Heindl is a professor for Building Economy and Project Development at the University in Kassel/Germany. She spoke about different interpretations of the notion “economy” and demonstrated her approach by using examples from her architectural practice. She showed fascinating alternatives to conventional project development schemes by putting the common good at the center of every action.

Gabu Heindl is the author of the book Stadtkonflikte. Radical democracy in architecture and urban planning and many more publications.

Her office GABU Heindl Architektur focuses on public space, public buildings, affordable housing and collaborations in the fields of historical politics, exhibition architecture and independent critical-artistic practice.
